One thing that I was most curious about when I got to college was how hard the classes would be and how mean the professors would be.
CLASS:
The classes at my school are all relatively small unless your taking a class that everyone on campus is qualified to take but even those classes only had around 170 people in them.
Remember...
Be on time
Bring your supplies
And pay attention
You should always pay attention. Sometime the professor might give you answers to the test and if your not listening he or she will probably not repeat themselves. Also if you don't understand something ask a question. Don't fail a test and then ask the questions because there won't be any retakes
PROFESSORS:
Most of my professors were great. However during my freshmen year I had one professor who was very shallow and was just trying to get through the day. I never ask him any questions and he never actually spoke to any of the students. If we needed help we always went to the TA(teacher's assistant) for help. They will know almost everything. They might even know questions that could appear on test. If your professors isnt a warm person you can always talk to the students who have been there already.
Tips:
Enjoy class
Don't sleep
Make a friend in each class to study with
Don't sit in the back of class
